Family Worship during Advent

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)

During Advent, we are encouraging families to worship together. So from December 3rd – 24th, we will not offer Children’s Chapel or Childcare for school-age children during the worship services. Instead, we are excited to have them join us for worship in the Sanctuary or the Christian Life Ministries Center where all services will include a children’s message. Nursery is still provided for infants-4 year olds, and we will have Sunday School classes as usual for all ages.

Children's Library

Did you know that St. James has a Children’s Library?  It now contains about 1000 books of Bible stories for children, devotions and prayers, Christian living, information about the Bible, and quality children’s picture books as well as chapter books and first readers.

We have moved recently!  The Children”s Library is now located in Room 32 in the Main Building.

Come by and visit the library!  Click on “read the rest” below to get a listing of the resources available in the Children’s Library. Read more…

FNO – Friday Night Out

Friday Night Out is a time of fun & fellowship for kids while mom and dad are out.  From September thru April, FNO runs on the 2nd Friday of each month from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.  Parents can take advantage of this ministry by dropping off their kids (infants to 5th grade).  We only ask that parents who use this service will work it on another occasion.
