Congregations For Children (C4C) is a state-wide initiative of The United Methodist Church focused on reflecting the love of Christ to our “neighbors” by helping children in public schools who are living in poverty. C4C’s areas of focus include:

1. Helping to improve K-3 Literacy rates (volunteer tutors, collecting/donating books, summer reading programs etc.)
2. Helping to meet the Basic Needs of students (food, clothing, supplies etc.)
3. Helping to increase Parental Involvement (and interactions with positive adult role models – i.e. lunch buddies, morning greeters, Watch DOGS etc.)

Thank You from Wahl Coates

A Thank You from the Staff of Wahl-Coates Elementary School

Thank you to the volunteers who come out to help our students and for all of the donated supplies.
Huge thanks for sharing your facility for Melange Ensemble, for volunteering during Bike Safety Week, for baking cookies to sell after our winter concert, and for donating classroom supplies at the beginning of our school year.

Thank you so much for all of your support for the playground and the buddy benches. We can’t wait for the playground equipment to arrive!
