The Bible is filled with crimes committed by the famous and infamous. This study will look at six such nefarious individuals providing the biblical context, what the crime was at the time, what crime it would be now, the punishment as told in the Bible and what would be a typical punishment today. You will find this study to be entertaining, informative, accurate and thought provoking. This is a continuation of a study that began in the fall but new folks are welcome to start in February.  Led by Aaron Sampson.

Crucifixion is an agonizing way to die, yet Jesus went to the cross out of love for humanity, indeed, for all creation. During that time on the cross, he spoke very little, and what he did say was spoken with great pain and difficulty. What he said, then, should be of vital importance to us as we go through the season of Lent, into Holy Week, and then to Easter and beyond. This study will look at the last six things Jesus said before his death and what they mean to our lives today.  Led by Mary Ruth Sikes.
