Questions and Answers about the Gathering

Q: What can we expect at The Gathering?
A: The night begins with a time of open recreation in the gym or outside. At 6:30, everyone gathers in the youth room for a time of musical worship, prayer, and message. Afterwards, we break into age-based small groups to apply our message.

Q: Who is The Gathering for?
A: All 6th-12th graders.

Q: What kind of things are discussed at the Gathering?
A: Through The Gathering, our ministry hopes to encourage students to take ownership of their faith. So we discuss topics that teens wrestling with faith are concerned about: like the trustworthiness of the Bible, violence and religion, faith and sexuality. We approach each topic understanding that we all come with different assumptions, and that our primary encounter with God comes through grace.
