What does XYZ mean to you?  For us it means EXTRA YEARS OF ZEST.

XYZ is to the adults of the church what MYF is to the youth . We do the same things, only much slower and not quite as loudly.

Fellowship – Worship – Travel – Singing – Speakers – Food – Parties

Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at noon.  You bring your lunch, and we furnish the drinks.  Some members make and bring desserts.  We have a short meeting to discuss upcoming programs and ideas for group trips.  Then we are blessed with programs from guest speakers, musical performances, or we travel to take a tour of a local attraction.

Depending on the activity, the day and time of a meeting may change.  When we travel, generally the only cost you will be asked to cover will be for your meals and any entrance fees that may be required.  We try to eat at a cafeteria if one is available.  The church provides the transportation.  A tip for the driver may be appropriate.

Our mission is to bring Christ into every facet of being a Senior
through our monthly activities and interaction with one another.

She will speaking to us on the topic of biblical archaelogy, which “involves the recovery and scientific investigation of the material remains of past cultures that can illuminate the periods and descriptions in the Bible, be they from the Old Testament …or from the New Testament, as well as the history and cosmogony of the Judeo-Christian religions” (from Wikipedia).

We will also welcome Brian Fulcher from Realo Drugs, who will be offering flu shots. Be sure to bring your insurance card and any co-pay if you plan to take advantage of this opportunity. Brian will be here at 11:30 a.m. and we will start our lunch/program at 12:00 p.m.
