Here is the new worship schedule, now underway, for St. James UMC:

Our 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services will stay the same and will continue to be livestreamed.

Additionally, we now have a traditional service in the Sanctuary at 8:30 a.m. that includes Holy Communion, and a contemporary service at 11:30 a.m. that includes a moment of witness by St. James member Victor Ihuka. These services will remain in-person only.

Preaching this Sunday

Rev. Tom Greener will preach in all four services from Paul’s letter to the Philippians, focusing upon “striving side by side with one mind for the faith of the gospel.”

Other Scriptural readings will be from Exodus 16:2-15 and Matthew 20:1-16.

The greeting question will be, What on earth are you doing, for heaven’s sake?
