Across the Short Hall from the Fellowship Hall


As you start new fall studies, you will find resources in the church libraries to help you as you seek to grow in your understanding and faith. The libraries may be found on the short hallway between the Narthex and the Fellowship Hall.


Histories of Christianity and other religions are available as are sources such as the Koran and Book of Mormon. Bible atlases and commentaries, Bible dictionaries and encyclopedias are there. People in the Bible and life in Bible times as well as Bible studies may be checked out. There are individual biographies and sections on the life of Jesus and Paul.


Classic Christian writings by such writers as St. Augustine, Julian of Norwich, Thomas a Kempis, C. S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and books of famous prayers and prayers in the Bible, and books about how to pray, as well as books of devotions are there for you.


Help in living out our lives in accordance with Scripture may be checked out in the Christian Living area and in sections on care-giving, grief, and marriage and family.


Areas of Christian fiction, novels, and books that shed light on the human condition may be found in the library as well.


In the Curriculum Library, sets of books used in various classes, chapter by chapter commentaries of the Bible, the Book of Discipline, women studies, books of sermons, and other Bible reference sources are available to be checked out. A new area of materials related to Creation Care is shelved there.


The Children’s Library is in the Preschool space.


The libraries are open any time the church is open. Books and materials are self-check-out. Use the card catalog or just just come and browse. It is all there waiting for you.
