Food Pantry Recognition

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, in observance of Partner Agency Appreciation Month, thanked our Food Pantry for its distribution of 24,890 pounds of food in 2023.

Volunteering for the Food Pantry

Distribution dates are the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Those days are when the bulk of the volunteer work is done to help folks who need the food that we provide.

Bagging produce and perishable items begin at 8 a.m. Preparation for the distribution of food is at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers typically work until 10 a.m. giving out food bags.

Upcoming distribution dates are Saturday, September 14, and Saturday, September 28.
