ONE Church: Ministries Fair, Worship, Fellowship Meal

The ONE Church event on Sunday, September 8, will again feature three parts: a Ministries Fair, Worship, and a Fellowship Meal. ONE Church will kick off Fall 2024 at St. James UMC in three important ways:

Worship

As described above, the ONE Church Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. will introduce our fall preaching series, "Our Rock, Our Shelter, Our Salvation."

Ministries Fair Organized by the United Missions Team

The Ministries Fair at 9:30 a.m. and after worship will feature the ministries of St. James UMC at tables spread throughout the church. Representatives from each ministry will introduce you to their plans for the fall — classes, small groups, events, worship, and opportunities to serve one another and the larger communities of Greenville and Pitt County — any of which you can join. Fellowship Meal Prepared by the New Culinary Team

Lunch at noon after worship will be the first official time that the new Culinary Team will provide a meal. This meal for the entire church will be prepared and served by members of this new ministry led by Pastor Becky Stephenson. The Culinary Team will cook meals for most Wednesdays of TGIW, for other special events, and for the St. James UMC Community Thanksgiving Meal on Thanksgiving Day, November 28. To serve on the Culinary Team or to help serve the meal on September 8, please email Pastor Becky.
