St. James is in the process of developing ministries for and with persons (children and adults) with special needs within our congregation and in the Greenville community. Our hope is to offer opportunities for Bible study and worship as well as to host special events during the year. You can help in a variety of ways. Your input to the following questions will help guide us…

  • What are we already doing? Help us to identify ways that we have already been ministering to and with the special needs community.
  • What else is God calling us to do? What are some ideas you have for ways that we can do even more for and with this community?
  • What do we need to know? If you have experience with the special needs community, we would love to learn from you. What are some of their spiritual needs? How can we assist those who care for persons with special needs? What might be some obstacles that we will need to overcome? What do we not even know that we don’t know?
