Frances Cain

Organist

I have been playing church services for 71 years. I began playing at the age of 12 at my home church, Rosemary Methodist, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. I attended East Carolina College (now ECU) in 1955, where I earned a B.M. Degree in piano and organ. I have also been the organist at St. James UMC for the past 52 years and in the St. James Hand bell Choir. In 2013, I was honored to receive the ECU School of Music Distinguished Alumnus Award.

I have two sons, five grand grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
