I was born in Greenville, NC, and raised for the first 11 years of my life, in Queens, NY. I am a 1992 graduate of J.H. Rose High School. I received a B.A. in English from NC A&T State University. While living in the Washington, DC area for a number of years, I earned an M.A. in English from Howard University.
My wife, Carol, and I were married on June 26, 2010, and we have two sons. We are members of Koinonia Christian Center, where I serve in the following areas: Missions Team, Minister, Leader of the Adult Christian Education Department, GriefShare Group Leader, and E-church Leader. Although I am a member of Koinonia, I feel at home at St. James. I completed all coursework to become a mortician, in May 2020. I love to travel, spend time with family, support the NC A&T Aggies, and attend my high school and college class reunions.
As the Facilities Manager, I am responsible for: scheduling all activities that take place in the buildings, ensuring that all equipment, HVAC units, etc. of the buildings, are serviced and have regular maintenance, oversee and maintain the columbarium niches, and make sure that the buildings and grounds are well maintained.
