Tent Yard Sale: How to Help

The Spring Fling Tent is back. It is now up and ready for us to organize the Yard Sale!

1.   Continue donating goods for the Tent Yard Sale

Donate now at the truck trailer in the CLMC field between 1 and 6 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.

  • Household Items
    (kitchen wares and linens)
  • Children’s Clothing
  • Children’s Toys
  • Children’s Books
  • Books for Adults
(please drop off bagged or boxed books in the Fellowship Hall hallway; see below under “Book Sale”)

2.    Volunteer to work in the Yard Sale Tent

  • “All hands on deck” to unload the trailer THIS Sunday, April 21. Please donate your time to help during the afternoon. The more folks we have, the faster we will finish.

  • Help sort and price items from Monday, April 22, to Friday, April 26. Giving time at the end of your work day or at lunch will go far in helping us get ready for Spring Fling. When you sign up, please indicate the hour(s) you are able to help. All volunteers are invited to have lunch on the days that they are working.

  • Help run the yard sale as a cashier or customer service person. On your volunteer registration, please indicate the hours you can help.

  • Help tear down and clean up. Mostly, that means putting tables and other St. James UMC property back in their proper places. Otherwise, the tent company will take down the tent, and a volunteer organization will pick up any remaining sale items.

3.    Buy stuff at the Yard Sale!

FOR THE FIRST TIME CREDIT CARDS MAY BE USED FOR YOUR PURCHASES!
