Admission age and policy for group placement:
Our ministry is open to children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. We also have a middle school group. Children will be placed in classes based on their current grade in school.
St. James UMC Afterschool is currently full, but with a wait list for the 2022/2023 school year for children attending the following schools: Eastern, Elmhurst, Hope, St. Peter’s, Wahl Coates and Wintergreen.

Transportation
We offer a pick-up service for children attending Eastern, Elmhurst,
St. Peter’s, Wahl Coates, Wintergreen, & Hope Schools.
Additional schools can only be added at the discretion of the Weekday Ministries Director.
Child restraint seats will be provided for our vans. Our bus has lap belts only.
Booster seats are not safe with these belts.
We accept children from other schools as long as their transportation is provided
and at the discretion of our Weekday Ministries Director.
St. James After School Ministry is a private program and is not licensed with the state.
However, we try to maintain the standards of other licensed programs.
Our staff-child ratio is 1/15.

2:30-3:30 Arrival & Snack Time
3:30 Devotion
3:45 Homework (Children will be divided up by grade level)
**After homework is completed children will enjoy free play & organized games.
Fees 2022/2023 School Year
Registration Fee (a one-time fee, due upon registration): – $40.00
Annual Supply Fee (a one-time fee, due by the end of Sept.):- $50.00
August Tuition (due at registration):-
for 1 child = $25.00
for 2 children = $45.00
for 3 children = $65.00
Monthly Tuition:
for 1 child = $195.00
for 2 children = $345.00
for 3 children = $488.00
Teacher Workdays: are an additional $20 ( first child) & $15 for each additional child.
Early Release Days: are $15 per child.
You will be billed for TWD & ERD’s in the following month’s invoice.
