Seekers Small Group Hosts Movie

The Seekers Small Group, which meets on Fridays, invites all interested people to attend a screening of the movie “The King’s Speech” on Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. in Room 23. Diane Sampson, a member of the small group, has planned the movie and invites everyone to join them for a good (free) movie.

“The King’s Speech” is a 2010 film about how King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II’s father, overcame a stammer with the help of an Australian speech therapist and actor. Colin Firth won the Academy Award for his portrayal of the king.
