New Study of Popular Religious-Themed Works Begins August 4

The Seekers Sunday School class is making plans for an eight-week series in which participants read, watch, or listen to eight works with religious themes.

All are invited to form a small group to read a book and/or watch a movie created from that book, or listen to the audio book version, then discuss the content. This series is NOT intended for the sole use by the Seekers class. Anyone can participate by forming small groups to watch/listen/read the work then discuss it.

Here is the list of works:

Joshua by Joseph Girzone

Joshua and the Children by Joseph Girzone

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Risen (movie only)

The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty

The Red Tent by Anita Diamant

The Shack by William Young

The study will begin on August 4 and run eight weeks. Small groups can form around all eight works, one, or several.
