Changes in Leadership
With Daewon Goldenbaum-Yang leaving St. James UMC with his wife, Pastor Laura, he has had to give up his leadership role with the Family Refugee Ministry.
Holly Hoag, Daewon’s co-chair, will continue in that role. She will have two partners in leadership of the group.
Brenda Colombo will be the main contact person with the Interfaith Refugee Ministry (IRM), the agency in New Bern that arranges with churches for the care of refugee families. Dan Swartout is also a new leader for the team.
