Laura, Daewon, Sophia, Drew, and Carina Honored Last Sunday

Pastor Laura Goldenbaum-Yang and her family were honored with a reception last Sunday to show our gratitude to them for their service to St. James UMC. The Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) hosted the reception.

Ayodeji Odunaike, Patrick Mbaya, and Daystar Babanawo assisted in the kitchen to prepare drinks and food for Pastor Laura’s reception.
Marianne Leventry, Joy Carter, and Kathy Dosser were among the many folks who organized, prepped, and served food at the reception for the Goldenbaum-Yangs.
Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) Chair Amanda Tilley expressed our thanks for Laura’s service to St. James UMC.
Retired pastor Johnny Branch and Daewon Goldenbaum-Yang shared a moment of conversation during the reception.
The CLMC was filled with folks who came to express best wishes to Laura, Daewon, Sophia, Drew, and Carina. They were served a delicious meal by members of SPRC and volunteers.
Among the gifts given to Laura and her family were a cake with a family photo embedded in it and a large card signed by many folks at the reception.
Family Ministry organized activities and games outside of the CLMC as part of the reception.
