Help our Neighborhood School!
The annual drive to provide school supplies for Wahl-Coates Elementary School kicks off tomorrow, July 12, and runs through August 20. The drive is sponsored by the St. James UMC chapter of United Methodist Women of Faith, with assistance by Congregations for Children (C4C).
Here is the list of supplies we ask that you donate:
- Highlighters
- Glue sticks
- 1-subject wide-ruled spiral notebooks
- Wide-ruled notebook paper
- Black thin-tipped Expo markers
- Large pink erasers
- Colored pencils
- Plastic folders with 3 prongs and 2 pockets
- Copy paper
- Lysol or Clorox wipes
- Large boxes of tissues (Kleenex)
- Baby wipes
- Band-Aids
- Ziplock bags
- Sticky notes (Post-Its)
An easy way to help is to purchase supplies through Amazon by using this link. That online connection enables us to have the supplies drop-shipped to St. James for our delivery on August 20 to Wahl-Coates.
If you would like to purchase the supplies locally, please drop off your donations in one of the boxes placed in the Commons, the Fellowship Hall stage, the CLMC lobby, or the Sanctuary lobby (narthex).
