Guys Growth Group First Meeting

Beginning May 9, 7 p.m., Parlor

We invite the middle school and high school boys of St. James to join our Guys Growth Group led by Pastor Tom and Pastor Kuda. This is a great opportunity for the youth to gather together in a smaller, more personal setting.

The first meeting will be tonight, May 9, at 7 p.m. in the Parlor. Snacks will be provided!

High School Ladies Bible Study

The next meeting of the High School Ladies Bible Study will be this Monday afternoon at 5 p.m. in the Parlor.

There will be a VBS Planning Meeting on Wednesday, May 15, at 5 p.m. in the Conference Room. Please come if you have registered as a volunteer, or if you plan to register.

We would love to have rising 6th through 12th graders and older join us as volunteers! If your rising 6th grader is not yet ready to volunteer and would like to still join a group, they are most welcome to. Just put “rising 6th” as your grade level when you register them.

Youth and Volunteer Training (First Aid & CPR, Safe Sanctuaries, questions about scenarios) will be on June 30 starting at 3 p.m.

Bible Bash for Third Graders on May 18

In celebration of third graders receiving Bibles during worship at ONE Church on May 19, Family Ministry is holding a Bible Bash on Saturday, May 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the CLMC. All third graders and their families are invited!

 

 

 

 

 

Senior Breakfast is Sunday, June 2

The St. James UMC Family Ministry team will host a breakfast to honor graduating high school seniors on Sunday, June 2, in the Fellowship Hall. The breakfast will be held after the 9 a.m. Worship Service.

Please bring your cap and gown to church so we may celebrate you!
