Want to Visit Homebound Members?
One of our most joy-filled ministries is that of visiting our homebound members—folks who simply cannot get to church or other activities any more due to health and transportation issues.
This ministry is a blessing to both the visitor and to the one being visited. As a visiting volunteer, you will visit one homebound member at least once a month. You may also enjoy telephoning your new friend once a month as well.
Visitors are asked to go through a volunteer background screening process, because those you will be visiting are considered to be vulnerable individuals. If you would like to be a part of this wonderful ministry, please contact Joyce Day at joyce@stjconnect.org or 252-347-3609.
