Dana is our Weekday Ministries director. She oversees the preschool and afterschool ministries of church and has served in her current role since December 2017. A big part of her role is to develop and equip a staff of 40 in the spiritual foundation, social, emotional development of the children enrolled in both ministries. As well as all financial and many of the administrative responsibilities of each program. Weekday Ministries serve approximately 170 children each school year.

She joined St. James Preschool in 2008 as a 3-year-old teacher. Her time at St. James has allowed her to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus, form impactful relationships within our community and most importantly get to teach children about Jesus!

She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. And has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from La Roche College and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Duquesne University.

She and her husband Don have one son, Wesley. They found St. James UMC and the preschool when they moved to Greenville in 2007. St. James has been her home ever since.
