Tom leads our staff team and helps the team and congregation give voice to who St. James is and who we can be. Tom serves as the chief steward of our vision to follow Jesus, love others, and change the world. It is his role to remind us often of the things activity can crowd out. Tom works closely with administrative team members to oversee the finances and structure of our congregation. Tom works with our program and worship teams to keep our life centered.

Tom and his wife Karen have two married children and three grandchildren. Nathan and his wife Zealy live in Monroe, NC. Sarah and her husband Ryan live in Holly Springs, NC. with their three children, Lexie, Leon, and Levi. Tom enjoys golf, roasting coffee, and collecting fountain pens.
